overlooking the city of Washington provides a beautiful panoramic view of the communities we
serve. More importantly, The Washington Cemetery stands as
a testament of devotion and pride and a celebration of cherished
memories of lifetimes past.

of the popular attractions in the Cemetery is our pond. During
your visit to the pond you may observe deer, geese, ducks,
and other wildlife in a natural environment. The entire area
provides a quiet setting for meditation and reflection for
many who visit the Cemetery.

Washington Cemetery is governed by a volunteer Board of Managers
and has earned a reputation for careful and capable management
since its’ beginning in 1853. As in the
beginning all revenue generated through its service is dedicated
to the ongoing preservation and development of the Cemetery. Perpetual
Care funds assure that the grounds, roadways, and buildings will
be maintained for years to come. The staff is dedicated to serving the needs of their clients with the respect and dignity of an age gone by.
